Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-05-24 · Effective on public launch.

Draft

This privacy policy is a working draft awaiting attorney review. It will not be the legally operative version until reviewed by counsel and dated for the public launch. For specific privacy questions in the meantime, email privacy@mira.app.

1. What we collect

When you sign up for Mira, we collect: your email address, business name, website URL, the messaging channels you connect (and the OAuth tokens needed to operate them), the conversations your assistant handles on your behalf, your billing information (via Stripe — we never store full card numbers), and basic product analytics (page views, feature usage, error events).

2. What we do with it

We use the information you give us to operate your Mira. Your conversations are processed by the AI providers listed on the Trust page — they have contracts with us promising they won't use your data for training. We use anonymous aggregate numbers to improve the product. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't train models on it.

3. How your data stays private

Every business's data is encrypted with a key unique to that business. The key sits in a secure key management service. Each business's Mira runs in her own isolated space — physically separated, never sharing memory with anyone else's Mira. See the Trust page for the details, in plain English.

4. Your rights

You can export every message and every setting from your dashboard at any time. You can delete your account whenever you want — your data is held for thirty days in case you change your mind, then destroyed for good. For data requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, email privacy@mira.app.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for sign-in and basic product analytics. That's it. No advertising cookies. No remarketing. EU visitors see a consent banner before any analytics run.

6. Children

Mira is a business product. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

7. Changes to this policy

Material changes are communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect, with a version-controlled history of past policies available on request.
